Use a Day Wallet
A day wallet is one that you use just for the day. It is sacrificial if it needs to be. So you keep only a day's worth of cash in it, and no credit cards. Your main wallet is kept snuggled secured away and not used in public. So if some criminal is tracking you and actually steals your day wallet its not catastrophic.
